The rugby match between New Zealand and Australia, for the Bledisloe Cup, to be played on Sunday at Eden Park in Auckland, is expected to have about 47,000 spectators, despite the covid-19 pandemic, was announced today.
The second game of the Bledisloe Cup, to be played between the two rugby powers of the southern hemisphere, gained more importance after two days ago, in the first meeting since the 19-covid pandemic, New Zealand and Australia tied at 16-16.
The director general of the New Zealand rugby federation, Chris Lendrum, praised the fact that, with the covid-19 pandemic in the country under control, some 31,000 spectators attended the first game and 40,000 were sold for the second thousand tickets.
