The Minister of Health of Mozambique, Armindo Tiago, announced today in a statement that he tested positive for the new coronavirus, finding himself without symptoms and in isolation at home
“I have no symptoms, I am physically and mentally well. I am infected, but not sick ”, he says, in a message in which he details that the test was carried out on Monday morning, as a preparation routine for a trip abroad.
“Due to the work I do and the underlying risk, I have been carrying out regular tests”, he adds. “The test result could only be known to me. However, as Minister of Health, I understand that I can transform this situation into a moment of learning for myself and for others ”, says Armindo Tiago.
