The former Economy Minister assumes the executive presidency of Brisa. Consortium led by APG plans to invest 1.2 billion euros
The consortium led by APG completed the acquisition of 81.1% of Brisa’s capital, and plans to invest 1.2 billion euros in the Portuguese company in 15 years, according to a statement released this Tuesday. The companies indicate that “following the conclusion of the transaction, Vasco de Mello is appointed chairman of the Board of Directors and António Pires de Lima is appointed CEO [executive chairman]” of Brisa. The conclusion of the deal is the result of a “decision by the European regulator not to oppose” this operation, according to the note.
