UK evaluates extradition of WikiLeaks founder to the US

Julian Assange faces up to 175 years in prison for making confidential documents public, disclosing how US military forces killed civilians. The extradition hearing for the founder of WikiLeaks will resume today in London

There are at least eight prisons in London. To accommodate Julian Assange, British justice chose Belmarsh. The maximum security facility in the east of the English capital was built to house terrorists and criminals. The Assange prison cell will open this Monday morning and the founder of the WikiLeaks platform will be transferred to London Central Criminal Court, Old Bailey, where his fate will be determined in the next three weeks. Will the 49-year-old be extradited to the US? There he faces up to 175 years in prison.
