Recent Covid-19 death curves in several countries reinforce the hypothesis that the pandemic may not produce a second wave of mortality in the most affected areas
The trend is the same in Brazil, Europe and the United States, where economies are reopened and social isolation is less and less. In these places, what still occurs is the increase in deaths in regions and states less affected initially.
In short, where the virus has not done much damage so far, there is still a greater chance of an increase in deaths – reinforcing the need for precautionary measures.
