Muslims ask NBA to “be on the right side of history” on issues related to Uighur oppression in Xinjiang, which compare to Adolf Hitler’s Nazi abuses
The largest Muslim group in the United States has added its voice to those calling for the NBA to cease operations in China, in a letter to league commissioner Adam Silver.
On Monday, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) asked the NBA to “be on the right side of history by announcing that it will end all operations in China, unless and until its government ceases to persecute millions of innocent people”.
