The budget of the Directorate of Tourism Services has already fallen this year by 35 percent compared to last year, which was 2.3 billion patacas, according to the director, Helena de Senna Fernandes.
Speaking to TDM, Senna Fernandes explained that the decrease this year is due to the expenditure freeze announced by the Executive following the coronavirus pandemic, as well as the cancellation of activities such as the international fireworks contest
After all, Tourism has a budget of 1.5 billion this year.
