Subsidized tourist itineraries will be extended

Diana do Mar

The Government announced today that it will increase the number of subsidized tourist routes from 15 to 25. This is the second phase of the “Vamos Macau” campaign, designed to boost tourism, one of the sectors most affected by the pandemic.

The new offer was presented this afternoon by the deputy director of Tourism Services, Cheng Wai Tong.

Among the new attractions are a helicopter trip and visits to places as distinct as those listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the Metro Light materials and workshop. The plan also includes night tours and gastronomic experiences.

The offer will be extended from Wednesday. Tourist routes are divided into two types: community and leisure.
