The star Cristiano Ronaldo, of Juventus, became this Monday (20) the first player in history to score 50 goals in the Italian, Spanish and English Championships. The record came thanks to the Portuguese’s two goals in a 2-1 win against Lazio, for the 34th round of Serie A.
The shirt 7 of the Old Lady also managed to reach another record in the game of yesterday (20): it was the athlete who arrived faster to the 50 goals in the elite of the Italian Championship. The Portuguese needed 60 games and beat Ukrainian Andriy Shevchenko, who reached the mark in 69 games.
“Records are always important, I got people used to breaking them in one tournament or another. But the most important thing is not these records, they are the victories of the team, which has been fighting until the end ”, said Cristiano Ronaldo in an interview with the broadcaster“ Sky Sport ”.
