The 93rd edition of the ceremony has been postponed until April 25 next year
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed the first productions selected to compete for the category of best film at the 93rd edition of the Oscar, which was postponed to April 25, 2021.
The first nine choices are:
“The Assistant”, by Kitty Green;
“Crip Camp”, by Nicole Newnham and James Lebrecht;
“Blood Detachment”, by Spike Lee;
“Você Nem Imagina”, by Alice Wu;
“Lost Girl: The Crimes of Long Island”, by Liz Garbus;
“Never Rarely Sometimes Always”, by Eliza Hittman;
“Military Wives”, by Peter Cattaneo;“Trolls 2”, by Walt Dohrn.
