Guinea-Bissau is experiencing, at this moment of incidents caused by a pandemic that shook the world, yet another political crisis triggered following the electoral results of the presidential elections of December 29, 2019.

Declared the winner of the second round of the presidential elections by the National Commission of Elections, having organized their own inauguration, assumed or authorized, mitigating Prime Minister Aristides Gomes and appointed a new government, led by Nuno Gomes Nabiam.
