Black artists ask Hollywood to prove that ‘Black Lives Matter’

Idris Elba, Queen Latifah and Billy Porter are some actors on the listMore than 300 black actors and filmmakers, including Idris Elba, Queen Latifah and Billy Porter, called on Tuesday (23) that Hollywood stop investing resources in the United States police and invest in anti-racist content.

An open letter addressed to “Our Hollywood Allies” attacked what he called a “legacy of white supremacy” in the industry, and said that Hollywood “encourages the epidemic of police violence and anti-black culture”.
