Masters in the art of transforming any show into a devilish party, the Portuguese folk band celebrates 15 years of existence with the album “Live”, the seventh in their career, released on Friday. It has the special participation of the Angolan rapper and activist Ikonoklasta (Luaty Beirão), in a live recorded show

“The beat for Africa, the beat for Mozambique, the beat for Angola”… it is with these words that the band Kumpania Algazarra calls to the stage the Angolan rapper Ikonoklasta, also known for being the activist Luaty Beirão.

The live recording, recorded at a concert in Azenhas do Mar, in Sintra, is available on the album “Live”, released last Friday to mark the 15 years of existence of the Portuguese folk band that mixes styles ranging from the Balkan fanfare ska or reggae. It is the seventh album in the career of Kumpania Algazarra.
