The teenager, found wandering around Kilamba, told OPAÍS that she would rather “die” asking to steal, or not to try. The trio lives in a house made of zinc sheets, commonly known as plaque, built on land that their parents are “watching” to prevent evasion, in the “Cinco Fios” neighborhood, near Kilamba’s centrality.
