Black image on social networks against racism

If on Monday (1) social networks were flooded with the anti-fascist symbol, on Tuesday (2) the #BlackOutTuesday movement (Tuesday’s blackout) dominates all social networks.

In it, users, famous or anonymous, leave the screen completely black as a way to protest against racism. The idea is that it is the only post published on Tuesday, hence the name of Tuesday’s blackout.

The action came after the death of George Floyd last week, who shocked the world by being choked by a white policeman while crying “I can’t breathe”. The action was filmed, went viral and started a series of acts across the United States.
