J. K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books, says that she never visited Livraria Lello, in Porto, in a message published on Twitter.
The creator of the magical saga Harry Potter clarifies that the inspiration for the work did not pass through Livraria Lello, not least because she never visited it.
“I have never visited this bookstore in Porto. I never heard of its existence! It is beautiful and I would have liked to have visited it, but it has nothing to do with Hogwarts!”, He wrote.
