Angola’s real estate market has been at a standstill for five years

Pedro Caldeira told Jornal de Angola that the lack of co-financing is the main problem in the sector, which results in the paralysis of the real estate market and makes it difficult for developers to act, as this is an economic segment that requires a lot of social contact.

Saying that the crisis strongly affected the areas of sale and rental, he said that there were several problems, citing the lack of investment financing, reducing the bureaucracy of the legal system for real estate business, unattractive interest rates for consumer credit, inactivity the National Housing Institute with regard to issuing permits and notes for activity in the sector and the lack of a professional card, among the most visible.
