The president of Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD) says the bank has already lent 10.7 billion euros to the economy to support families and companies affected by the Covid-19 crisis. Heard in Parliament this morning, Paulo Macedo states that among the financing that CGD has pre-approved, the credit lines opened and the loans already transferred to customers’ accounts, the amount that CGD has available to companies amounts to 10, EUR 7 billion.
