Italian driver Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) won the Belgian Grand Prix today, the 10th round of the Formula 1 World Championship, extending his lead at the top of the drivers’ standings.
Antonelli, who started from pole position, held off Monégasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) to cross the finish line 1.952 seconds ahead. Dutch driver Max Verstappen (Red Bull) secured third place, finishing 11.586 seconds behind the winner.

The victory marks Antonelli’s sixth win of the season. Coupled with a first-lap retirement for teammate George Russell (Mercedes), the Italian now holds a 45-point lead over British driver Lewis Hamilton (Ferrari), who finished fourth. Russell dropped to third place in the standings, trailing Antonelli by 50 points.
