China citizen subject to Interpol red notice arrested at Dili airport

The Scientific and Criminal Investigation Police (PCIC) of East Timor arrested a 47-year-old Chinese national today at Dili International Airport following an Interpol Red Notice issued at the request of Chinese authorities.

According to an official statement released on the PCIC’s website, the suspect had been wanted since Thursday and was attempting to board an international flight to leave the country.
