The vehicle’s design benefited from intensive collaboration with Xiaomi’s European research and development center based in Munich. To ensure peak performance, the engineering team rigorously tested the SUV on the legendary Nürburgring circuit in Germany, emphasizing Xiaomi’s commitment to competing against established high-performance automotive brands.
Following the success of its first SUV model, which surpassed 230,000 units delivered in its first ten months, Xiaomi is scaling its ambitions. The company aims to sell 550,000 electric vehicles in 2026, a 34% increase from last year, while preparing for an European market expansion set to commence in 2027, despite intense competition within the Chinese market.
