Portugal’s under-21 team strengthened its bid for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2027 with a 3-0 win over Scotland in Estoril.
Goals came from Roger Fernandes (29′), Daniel Banjaqui (44′), and Gonçalo Moreira (54′), giving Portugal six wins and one draw in the qualifying stage. The team tops Group B with 19 points, five ahead of second-placed Czech Republic and eight ahead of Scotland.

The nine group winners and the best runner-up (excluding results against the sixth-placed team) qualify directly for the final tournament in Serbia and Albania in 2027, while the remaining runners-up enter a play-off.
