Boasting four Major titles in her career—having captured the Australian Open in 2023 and 2024, alongside back-to-back US Open crowns in 2024 and 2025—the powerful Belarusian is still chasing her maiden title on the clay of Roland Garros.
Following this convincing opening-round victory, Sabalenka will move on to face either the Czech Republic’s Linda Fruhvirtova, currently ranked 149th, or French home-favorite Elsa Jacquemot, ranked 67th, in the second round of the tournament.
