A fire broke out on Wednesday morning at the Jardim Nova Taipa building, leaving one person injured.

The victim is a 65-year-old man who suffered second-degree burns to his face, hands and legs. According to Ou Mun Tin Toi, he is a resident maintenance worker and is in stable condition. A preliminary investigation concluded there are suspicions the incident was caused by a gas leak in the apartment.
