The 2026 Star Awards added four new five-star properties to its list: Capella at Galaxy Macau, Palazzo Versace Macau at Grand Lisboa Palace, Paiza Grand at The Londoner Macao and The St. Regis Macao.

Including hotels, spas and restaurants, Macau now has 72 five-star venues, all operated by the city’s six integrated resort concessionaires. Among them, Melco Resorts & Entertainment leads with 17 top-rated venues in Macau — rising to 19 when its Manila properties are included — and said it remains the integrated resort operator with the most FTG five-star awards worldwide.

Galaxy Macau secured 12 five-star accolades, marking the fourth consecutive year it has set a record for the most five-star hotels under one roof. Wynn Resorts Macau earned 11 five-star distinctions, while SJM Resorts’ Grand Lisboa Palace became the only integrated resort globally with all its hotels rated five-star by FTG.

Sands China added two new five-star hotels, and MGM’s two Macau properties collected seven five-star awards, with MGM Macau achieving its 11th consecutive top rating. Outside the integrated resorts, Mandarin Oriental was recognised as a four-star hotel, with its spa again included among the highest-rated venues.
