U.S. President Donald Trump warned that countries without oil production must secure their own fuel supplies, reiterating criticism of allies amid tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.
“Get your own oil. We have plenty,” Trump wrote on social media, suggesting those countries should instead purchase energy from the United States.
Meanwhile, joint military strikes by the United States and Israel continued against Iran, including attacks on a major nuclear facility in Isfahan. Iranian forces reportedly responded by targeting a Kuwaiti oil tanker.

About a month into the conflict, more than 3,000 people have been killed, mostly in Iran, while global oil and gas supplies have been significantly disrupted. Fuel prices have surged worldwide, with U.S. gasoline exceeding $4 per gallon.
The tensions have been exacerbated by Iran’s restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz, a critical route through which roughly 20% of the world’s oil passes between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
