Located within the New Orient Landmark Hotel on the Macau peninsula under the gaming licence of SJM Holdings, the casino’s final moments were witnessed by over 100 gamblers, employees and onlookers — brought together by a mix of chants, cheers and quiet tears — with some describing the closure to MNA as “inevitable”.
In its final hour of operation, a check by MNA found that only six baccarat tables on the ground floor remained active. The rest of the gaming floors, including dozens of gambling tables and machines, had already ceased operations. Even the snack and drink counters were shut ahead of the final countdown.
