On July 26 at The Parisian Macao’s Qube Kingdom, Sands China arranged for contemporary artist Bibi Lei—the first Macao artist to exceed Sotheby’s London auction estimates—to lead 30 children and parents from the Children’s Dream Alliance in “The Home of Flower Energy Swirls” workshop.
Lei guided participants in her intuitive, finger-painting technique to create vibrant, dreamlike artworks centered on the theme of “home.” The session fostered emotional expression, parent-child bonding, and a healing, playful atmosphere that reflected Lei’s signature “Brave Girl” character and whimsical style.

Art Sharing Session at The Londoner Macao
On July 30, more than 120 art enthusiasts joined a free Art Sharing Session in the Greenwich Ballroom, moderated by cultural editor Zabrina Lo. The first panel, “Speaking Urban Tales Through Art,” featured artists Craig & Karl and Ilya Milstein, who discussed how colour, form, and narrative can capture the spirit of cities like Macau and infuse their essence into artworks.
The second panel, “From Heritage to Horizon,” brought together artists Hei Lok, Song Zhou, and Bibi Lei to explore how traditional Chinese heritage informs their innovative practices. Lok shared his realist portraiture rooted in local culture; Zhou detailed his hyperrealist fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics; and Lei spoke on reintegrating into Macau’s art scene after international acclaim, reflecting on Japanese influences and Macau’s cultural rhythms.
Meet-and-greets Aug. 2 and Aug. 9 at The Venetian Macao’s main lobby offer fans of all ages a chance to take photos and interact with Sesame Street muppets, creating memorable moments this summer.

Sands China also delighted families with Bert & Ernie at The Venetian Macao’s main lobby on August 2, and will host Elmo & Cookie Monster on August 9 at 4 p.m.
These free sessions offer photo opportunities and interactive moments, extending Sands China’s “Dopamine: Fountain of Happiness” special exhibition theme of joy across generations.
