Yearbook Rankings & Industry Mover Distinction
Sands China Ltd. achieved Top 1% status in both the Global and China editions of the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2025, reflecting its outstanding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices.
In the China edition—assessing 1,600+ companies across 60 industries in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau—Sands China is one of only 18 firms to rank in the Top 1% and the sole recipient of the ‘Industry Mover’ award.
This accolade requires at least a 5% year-over-year improvement in the annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) score; Sands China surpassed this with a 7% increase, marking its first Industry Mover recognition.
Global Edition Top 1% Performance
In the global evaluation—covering 7,690+ companies across 60 industries—only 65 companies achieved Top 1% CSA scores. Sands China’s placement for a second consecutive year underscores its consistent, high-level ESG execution on the world stage.
CSA Assessment & Criteria
The S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment measures companies’ ESG practices, inviting only the top 15% of performers in each industry into the annual Yearbook.
Criteria include climate strategy, resource management, workforce training, community impact, and governance transparency.
