Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Director Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes said that a daily maximum of 175,000 could descend on the territory.
According to the State Council, the holidays run from 15 February through 23 February. 14 and 28 February, falling on a weekend, will become workdays afterwards. This year’s holiday is one day longer than last year’s.
