According to a document to which Lusa had access, the presidency, rotating, are-tomensian has already sent the invitations to the organization’s Membership Presidents to attend this meeting on Sept. 23 on the side of the week of the high debate level in the United Nations, which takes place on the week between 23 and 28 September, with other diplomatic sources advanced that the issue of assumption of the organization’s 2025 leadership of the organization will be one of the points on agenda.
But, according to St. Thomas and Prince’s Ambassador to the CPLP, a country that has the organization’s rotary presidency by 2025, the proposed September 23 date may not be seen, because the day of the informal summit “will have to be adjusted in accordance with the agendas of heads of state.”
Asked on subjects on the agenda of this meeting, Esterline Genre said unaware of so far what they are, but assured that they will not have to do with the organization’s future presidency.
On the sideline of the UN General Assembly, an informal meeting of foreign ministers and Foreign Affairs of the CPLP is held, but this year, the Presidency are tomian understood that an informal summit of heads of state would be important and of Government of the nine countries, have advanced other diplomatic sources.
