The violent protests rocking Britain extended on Monday to the southwestern city of Plymouth, with local police reporting violence against officers, damage to a police car and arrests.
Images broadcast by Sky News television showed clashes between far-right elements and protesters in the largest city in the county of Devon.
The two groups were separated and kept apart by lines of British riot police.
Protesters attacked each other by throwing stones and pyrotechnic devices, according to Sky News.
