As of Saturday, the main changes at the IFAB include penalties and goal celebrations.
The new season is just around the corner and with it comes some news in football laws. The IFAB (International Football Association Board) – the body that regulates the laws of football – has made some adjustments, the main ones being that the goalkeepers cannot distract the penalty takers and the time “lost” in goal celebrations becomes count towards the clearing period. These changes take effect next Saturday.
