Chinese police questioned officials of North American consulting firm in Shanghai

According to the newspaper, the news worries some North American companies present in China, who fear retaliatory measures from Beijing, after several sanctions imposed by Washington against Chinese companies and entities, in particular the technological sector, in the name of “national security”. .

The Ministry of Foreign Business of China then clarified that the company is “suspected of illegal operations”.

A few days later, the Chinese regulator for cyberspace announced a “review” of two products from the North American technology company Micron, in order to prevent possible “risks” for “national security.”
