Three children, aged 8, 10 and 11, died and another remained in critical condition after falling into an icy lake near Birmingham, central England, local police said on Monday.
“Three boys tragically died after falling into a lake at Babbs Mill Park in Solihull yesterday afternoon. The boys, aged 11, 10 and eight, were rushed to hospital after being pulled out of the water,” West Midlands Police said in a statement.
On Sunday at the end of the day, the British emergency services had advanced that four children were admitted “in critical condition” in two hospitals in the United Kingdom, after suffering a cardiac arrest, after being removed from the lake.
