The F2003-GA Chassis 229 with which Michael Schumacher won numerous races in the 2003 season achieved “a record price for a Formula 1 of the modern era”, he added.
The value recorded at the auction in Geneva is almost double the previous record of 7.5 million euros, achieved by another Ferrari car, also driven by the seven-time German champion, during the 2001 Formula 1 season, which Sotheby’s auctioned in 2017 in New York.
