Rio Ferdinand, former England international, does not believe that Erling Haaland, Manchester City’s top scorer, and Kylian Mbappé, PSG star, will reach the numbers that Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have starred in for more than a decade.
“Ronaldo and Messi are two legends and no one has ever managed to maintain their level for so long. It’s unbelievable. We are now seeing Haaland and Mbappé, but I don’t believe they will reach their numbers. It shows the level we are talking about,” the former Manchester United centre-back told BT Sports.
