Macau opens doors to foreigners

According to an order signed by the Chief Executive, Ho Iat Seng, the restrictions currently in force are revoked, allowing the road of “non-residents from other countries or regions designated by the health authority, after assessing the risk of an epidemic and taking into account the real needs for the movement of people”.

The order stresses, however, that foreigners will have to comply with “the entry conditions defined” by the Macau Health Services (SSM).

According to a statement released by the New Type of Coronavirus Contingency Coordination Center, non-resident workers and family members of residents, as well as travelers from 41 countries, including Brazil, will be allowed to enter.
