Russian gas deliveries suspended until 2 September

Russian group Gazprom completely closed off gas supplies to Europe through the Nord Stream pipeline this Wednesday for maintenance operations, AFP reports.
The stop has already been announced, and deliveries of Russian gas will be interrupted between August 31 and September 2.

“Maintenance is required every 1,000 hours” of operation, Gazprom said in a statement about two weeks ago, adding that the Trent 60 gas compression unit will be stopped for three days and that maintenance will be attended by technicians. from Siemens.

After this period, the supply will resume with a level of 33 million cubic meters of gas per day.
