The US embassy in Ukraine warned this Tuesday that Russia could attack “in the coming days” civilian infrastructure and government buildings and recommended that the country’s citizens “get out of Ukraine”.
“The State Department has information that Russia is intensifying efforts to launch attacks against civilian infrastructure and government facilities” in Ukraine “in the coming days,” the embassy warned in a message posted on the website, without revealing further details.
The note urges US citizens to “leave Ukraine now via available private ground transportation, if it is safe to do so.”
