Portugal resumes “golden visas” policy

Applications for “golden visas” in Portugal have resumed and several new requests of Residency Permit for Investors (RPI) have been submitted, after a break of five and a half months.

Data released by SEF on Monday indicate that investment captured through “gold visas gold” grew 94 percent in May compared to 2021, to 53.8 million euros.

Last month, 17 “gold” visas were granted to China, 16 to the United States of America, 10 to Brazil, eight to Lebanon, and seven to India.
