Health authorities announced that starting from midnight of January 21 people entering Macau and having to undergo medical observations will still have to complete a self-management period at home.
Individuals entering Macau and undergoing medical observation for a period of 14 days in designated places, will be required to complete self-management of health for an additional period of at least 14 days, while individuals subject to medical observation for a period of 21 days in designated places, will have to complete an additional 7 days self-management period.
In both situations, individuals, one day before the end of the self-management period, will be subjected to a nucleic acid test, which in case of being negative, self-management health measures will cease.
