Minister of Health admits vaccine against Covid-19 in Portugal as early as January


A working group has already been created to prepare the distribution of vaccines in Portuguese territory


Health Minister Marta Temido hopes that the Covid-19 vaccine will be available in Portugal as early as 2021. Interviewed this Wednesday on the PS podcast “Politics with a Word”, Marta Temido clarified that a work team has already been created to manage the process of receiving and distributing vaccines against the new coronavirus and said that the first doses can be administered as of January.

The minister also addressed the issue of the flu vaccine, admitting that, this year, there are no more doses available, so she recommends that those who do not need to take this vaccine do not do so, adding that she did not take it herself.
