Macao local football team files complaint over racial insults during match

The coach and players of local football team, Casa de Portugal, have accused two players from Hang Sai team of racist insults during a first division match this weekend, according to the weekly sports channel of TDM TV.

The incidents took place by the end of a match on October 31 at the Taipa Stadium between the two squads for the sixth round of this year’s Macau football championship, which ended with Casa de Portugal winning 4-3.

“During the last 10 minutes when the game was under our control two Hang Sai players started calling my players with racist insults and telling them to return from where they came from,” Casa de Portugal coach, Pele’ stated to the local broadcaster.
