The blue-eyed Kwara woman Risikat Azeez-Ayegbami made peace with her husband Wasiu Omo-Dada. The story of their separation went viral, even deserving of honors on the BBC, after someone shared it on Twitter.
Risikat revealed in an interview that her husband abandoned her and her daughters because of the color of their eyes. “My husband rejected me and his daughters because we have blue eyes,” she told the BBC.
