New Portuguese ambassador in Bissau committed to improving “excellent” relations

The new Portuguese ambassador to Guinea-Bissau, José Rui Caroço, today presented the credential letters to the Guinean President, Umaro Sissoco Embaló.

“I had the opportunity to reiterate the commitment of the Portuguese authorities to continue, deepen, improve the, I said, excellent, unique and unique relationship that exists between Portugal and Guinea-Bissau”, said José Rui Caroço.

The Portuguese ambassador spoke to the press after the presentation of the credential letters, which believe him to be Portugal’s ambassador to Guinea-Bissau, which took place at the Presidency Palace, in the Guinean capital.

“My mission here in Bissau is obviously, with all the embassy employees, in all its sectors, to contribute and work towards that purpose of deepening bilateral relations between the two countries,” he said.
