Majority of Angolans give negative note to the Government of João Lourenço

About eight out of 10 Angolans consider that the Government of João Lourenço is having a “bad” or “very bad” performance in the development of its economy.

“About eight out of 10 Angolans rate the Government’s performance in maintaining price stability (78%), creating jobs (75%), improving the living conditions of the poor as“ bad ”or“ very bad ” 75%) and the general management of the economy (71%) ”, refer to the conclusions of a study released today.

According to data from Afrobarometer, a pan-African, non-partisan research network that provides quantitative data on Africans’ experience and assessment of democracy, governance and quality of life, residents of the provinces of Luanda and Cabinda are the most dissatisfied with the performance of the Government of João Lourenço.
