“Only in Los Angeles!” Said one of the pilots who saw the unusual moment
US authorities said on Tuesday they had opened an investigation after pilots spotted a man flying a jetpack near jet planes at Los Angeles airport.
“The FBI is aware of the pilots’ Sunday reports and is working to determine what happened,” spokeswoman Laura Eimiller told AFP.
Two crews of planes that were in the process of landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Sunday night reported that they saw the person flying on the landing route.
