Cuba will begin human clinical trials next week of its COVID-19 vaccine project, “Soberana 01”, which results are scheduled for February 2021, health officials said this Tuesday.
The Public Registry of Clinical Trials in Cuba and the State Control Center for Medicines, Equipment and Medical Devices authorized 676 people between the ages of 19 and 80 to start trials.
Recruitment of candidates will begin on August 24 and end in late October.
