The biggest gaming industry event taking place in Macau, the Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) has been canceled due to border restrictions in the territory due to covid-19, the organization announced on Thursday.

The event, initially scheduled for May, had initially been postponed first to July and then to between December 1st and 3rd, but has now been canceled “due to continued global travel restrictions as a result of the covid-19,” the organization said in a statement. .

In the same note, the organization also informed that the event scheduled for November in the Philippines was also canceled for the same reasons.
